LOUIS - The St. Louis Blues have given Martin Brodeur a one-week leave of absence, perhaps signalling the end of the 42-year-old goalies time with the team.The Blues said Wednesday that Brodeurs future will be addressed after he returns. Brian Elliott has recovered from a knee injury, and 24-year-old Jake Allen has been strong in net. That duo has made the starts during the Blues five-game winning streak.Brodeur is 3-3 with a 2.87 goals-against average in seven games since joining the Blues in December after two decades with New Jersey.
